The White Horse Ph - A pub with rooms in Linslade offering a garden, bar, free WiFi, and proximity to Leighton Buzzard and Grand Union Canal

Located on the boundary between Linslade and Leighton Buzzard, The White Horse Ph is a pub with accommodation set in a converted stabling yard. The White Horse Ph provides a garden, a bar, and free WiFi throughout, with all guest rooms featuring a flat-screen TV, private bathroom, and bed linen. Single, twin, double, and triple rooms are available, with some offering views over the pub's outdoor seating area. The property does not serve food on-site, but plenty of dining and breakfast options are within walking distance in Leighton Buzzard town centre. The Grand Union Canal is a short walk away, and Leighton Buzzard railway station is easily reachable on foot. Bletchley Park is 13 km from The White Horse Ph, Woburn Abbey is 13 km, and Milton Keynes Bowl is 18 km. London Luton Airport is 31 km away. Free WiFi is available in all areas, and the bar serves a well-regarded pint of Guinness.

Pros

Clean, comfortable rooms with crisp white decor

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, praised by multiple guests

Serves one of the best pints of Guinness outside Ireland

Convenient location for walking to Leighton Buzzard town centre and the canal

Cons

Noise from the pub and outdoor seating area until closing time, with limited sound insulation

On-street parking can be difficult; nearby paid parking at Tesco is available

“The location is remarkably central, making it easy to explore the area on foot, and I found the rooms consistently clean and well-equipped. It's a solid base, especially if you appreciate a quiet stay given the pub's food hiatus and the comfortable sleeping conditions, even with a somewhat thin mattress. The staff's friendliness stands out, and for those who enjoy it, the Guinness is genuinely exceptional.”
